The Basin Business Advisors (BBA) are excited to announce the return of their Social Enterprise Workshop and the launch of their Succession Planning Workshop coming this fall.

Although the BBA program is most known for its one-on-one business consulting throughout the Columbia Basin, they also provide FREE workshops.  This fall, the BBA will be bringing back their Social Enterprise Workshop and launching their NEW Succession Planning Workshop.  These workshops will be available in select Basin communities throughout the fall. Does your company have a long term position to fill and want to hire an ambitious youth? Get Youth Working! can help with the cost of on-the-job and external training. This program offers eligible employers in Kootenay region a $2,800 hiring incentive to hire eligible youth age 15 to 29. Additionally, you may request up to $1,000 to purchase external training for your new hire. Non-profits benefit from Basin Business Advisors program May is Social Enterprise Month. A social enterprise is a business operated by a non-profit organization that both generates income from sales and creates social, environmental or cultural value. To strengthen these types of businesses year-round, Columbia Basin Trust offers advice and other resources through its Basin Business Advisors (BBA) program.
