Roberta has a diverse professional history, having managed businesses in the tourism, food service, accommodations and event planning sectors. In addition to her work with the BBA, Roberta presently holds a position in property management.
Roberta started working with Community Futures Revelstoke in 2007 as a Self-Employment Program Coordinator before moving to the BBA team in 2013.
Roberta has always had a strong passion for helping people and is highly emphatic by nature. Both personal attributes are evident in the approach she takes to business advisement. Aiming to empower her clients, Roberta strives to help businesses see their value and potential.
She has been instrumental in the presentation of the BBA’s Succession Planning and Buying a Business workshops around the Columbia Basin.
Roberta has also held several volunteer roles over the years, including being on a board for junior B hockey, the Revelstoke Crime Stoppers and other non-profits. She loves being with family and friends and, in her leisure time, enjoys camping and spending time in nature.
Based in Revelstoke, the community she was born and raised, Roberta is pleased to work with a variety of Basin businesses. Her area of focus extends from Revelstoke to Golden to Nakusp to Valemount.
