Our objective is to work with primary producers throughout the Columbia Basin to help strengthen their farm businesses. We provide free, confidential business counselling and assessment services to help identify issues and opportunities.
We recognize that operating a profitable agriculture business requires a different set of skills than running a conventional business. Growing or producing the product efficiently is just the start of operating a successful farm business. Our Agriculture Specialist helps primary producers with the business of operating their farm.
The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we do business and the way we live. During this time the BBA Program is busy collecting resources to help businesses and we can help you navigate the government support programs that are coming into effect. The agriculture industry is more important than ever, keeping the supply of food moving in our regions. The public is primed to hear from you, to support you, to buy from you!
This is a challenging time of uncertainty, we can help you with cash flow planning, getting an online marketing plan going, rethinking your distribution system and more. Also consider that you have time now to do things in your business you’ve been meaning to do or planning that has never reached the top of the priority list. We’re here to help you figure out how to pivot in the short term and the long term. Fill in our application form or get in touch with the Agriculture Advisor to get started on being proactive for your present and future.
