Succession Planning Workshop (Online)
As a business owner, you have probably given considerable thought to the success of your company. But what will happen to it when you retire or decide to sell your business?
Planning the transfer of your business to someone else requires more than putting out a For Sale sign. Now might be the time to get serious about creating a succession plan that works for you, your employees, your business and your community.
If you are currently thinking of selling your business, a good succession plan and/or exit strategy can help the transfer of your business go smoothly and help prevent future service disruptions. It can also help maximize your business’ value and tax strategies.
The Basin Business Advisor Program’s Succession Planning Workshop is designed to help business owners explore options and to answer some of their questions.
We will review:
- preparing your business for sale;
- identifying potential buyers;
- marketing your business;
- legal and financial accounting ramifications and support required; and
- common business valuation techniques.
Workshop Cost: Free
There is no cost to attend but space is limited and pre-registration is required. This workshop is available to residents of the Columbia Basin. Not sure if you are in the region? Check out our map.
Workshop Delivery: Online
This workshop is delivered virtually using Zoom. You will need a Zoom account and access to a computer with video, sound, microphone and ideally a webcam. Learn about Zoom here.
